How to Make an Ergonomically Safe Office

The office seems like a safe and injury-free workplace but that’s because its dangers are not sudden, they creep and take their time.

You may see an office and think that it is the safest work environment around. But it all depends on how you define safe and injury-free. The dangers that lurk in an office are slow-moving and are hardly noticeable in the short-term. A heavy machine can fall on you at a factory and instantly break your leg–it’s quick, it’s short and the damage is undoubtedly noticeable right there and then. The dangers that stalk office workers may take decades to develop, but they can sprout into injuries that can wreck lives.

Whether you are a delivery service or a content marketing team, this is why every office needs to be ergonomic, meaning designed for efficiency and comfort.

  1. Keep Posture in Mind – Sit as close as possible to your desk, with your upper arms parallel to your spine and your lower arms parallel to the floor; they should be at a 90-degree angle. Make sure that your knees are bent 90 degrees as well. Your back should be straight and your head pointing forwards.
  2. Look at the Height of Your Monitor – Your chair must be at the right height. Casually look forward, close your eyes . . . and open them. Your eyes should be aimed directly at the center of your screen. Adjust it if necessary.
  3. Regulate Your Stand-Up Desk – A stand-up desk is a good way to counteract the negative strains on your muscles that sitting down brings. Stand up straight, and make sure that your arms are at 90 degrees and your head is straight.

An ergonomically suited office not only keeps employee injuries at bay, it also increases productivity. To further increase productivity, you need the right content marketing team to help your brand reach heights you never before imagined. From original blog content to custom websites, we deliver everything you need for a successful marketing campaign. real estate blogs

Are You Wasting Time Writing Real Estate Blogs? (Hint: No!)

Why real estate blogs really matter for the modern agent.

In our modern world of real estate, you’ve probably given at least a little thought to your online presence. You know that today’s agents need a good website, and you’ve likely put some energy into keeping up on social media. Does that mean you’ve dotted every internet i and crossed every tech t? No, actually. If you’re not writing real estate blogs, you’re missing out on some major benefits. Here’s what blogs can do for you.

  • Get better online visibility. Want to see your website at the top of Google? Blogs are key. When you’re regularly posting valuable, original content, Google and other search engines rank your site higher than others that aren’t putting out new info. Your blog could help bring your page higher up on the search engine ranking page, making it easier for future clients to find you!
  • Give yourself authority. Yes, your website goes a long way towards showing your expertise. But you can’t (and really shouldn’t) update your website every week with new info. That’s where your blog can come in. By blogging, you can show that you’re in-the-know about your industry and your area. Regular blogs show current and potential clients that you’re on the cutting edge!
  • Make networking easier. When your blogs gain traction, they’ll catch the eye of others in your industry. They’ll likely comment, or reach out to you in a less public way. In short, your blog is like an extended online business card that can help you build relationships with your colleagues.

Now that you understand the importance of real estate blogs, you might be feeling a little stressed about doing the actual work. We can help! Our expert team of real estate bloggers will make sure you’re regularly posting engaging, unique content online. The best part? We’ll even write it for you.

Best Time for your Email Campaign

Best Time to Post: Email Campaign Edition

Want to get more out of your next email campaign? Send it out at these times.

It’s not uncommon for businesses to send out an email campaign that gets a small average open rate. In fact, according to MailChimp report, companies of 50 people or fewer, see fewer than one in every four emails they send get opened. What’s more, the average click rate is less than 3 percent! Even so, email is a free way to get people’s attention, and those 3 out of 100 opens are 3 people that could turn into clients!

If you’re not quite satisfied with seeing your emails go unopened, know that your problem could be your timing. Get more out of your mass emails to clients by following this schedule from Kissmetrics’ recent study of email marketing timing.

6:00 to 10:00 a.m. These four hours mark when people are most likely to open consumer-based marketing emails. If you want to hit them with a great consumer focused piece, aim to drop it in people’s inbox when the sleep is still in their eyes.

10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. People are working. Don’t send an email during these hours or it will end up at the bottom of inboxes, or in the trash.

12:00 to 2:00 p.m. Take advantage of the usual lunch break hours to hit people with relevant news and lifestyle emails.

2:00 to 3:00 p.m. That afternoon grind will leave your email completely ignored.

3:00 to 5:00 p.m. If your email is financially pertinent, send it now.

5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Want to communicate with other businesses? B2B promotions are best sent during this window.

7:00 to 10:00 p.m. As people settle into their evenings, they start to look for exciting info. Send out your promos now!

10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Don’t bother. This is a dead time, and very few emails get opened during these hours.

Still not getting the engagement you envisioned from your email campaign? Contact Stratosphere Marketing Solutions in Westlake Village, California.
